...About Us...
Catherine has owned and trained dogs, primarily herding breeds,
most of her life. Each summer she attended many of the county fairs in Illinois.  A lot of the fairs had sheepdog trials and Catherine was amazed at the ability of the dogs to move and handle sheep.

Mike and I arrived in Delta Junction, Alaska in 2004. In October of that year Aurora came into our lives. Aurora was our ringbearer at our wedding in July 2005. In 2007 we purchased a small farm and have continued to expand our farming operation. We currently have 60 acres of hay and have a sheep flock of 25 ewes. We have a variety of hair and wool breeds and market locker lambs and fleeces to handspinners.

We offer group and individual obedience instruction, herding lessons, and board-in troubleshooting training. Catherine is a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. Catherine and Mike are members of the Tanana Valley Kennel Club, Alaska Herding Group Club, Border Collie Society of America, American Border Collie Association, Australian Shepherd Club of America and Estrela Mountain Dog Association of America.
